Christopher Brown is based in AECOM’s UAE Studio and is a Director and Principal of AECOM’s Master Planning Practice DP&E, Design Planning, and Economics. He is also a Project Director for mega projects including Expo 2020. Chris has over twenty years of experience working in the UK, Middle East, Asia and the USA, in architecture, urban design, landscape architecture and strategic consultancy. His interdisciplinary background provides a balanced perspective that he uses to guide large-scale master plans, architecture and urban design in a variety of international environments, including Expo 2020 Dubai, Dubai Marina, Mshereib Doha, Bayside Florida, and Hong Kong Airport. Chris has led large teams that span AECOM’s business lines and geographies. This experience is combined with a creative approach to design founded on a strong emphasis on contemporary design and culture. Chris also has extensive experience managing extremely complex projects often involving multiple Client stakeholders and hundreds of design and technical professionals who must work together to deliver a client’s vision.
Currently, Chris is working extensively in KSA in particular in Riyadh and on Giga projects using his previous experience in design, project guidelines and urban typologies for large scale urban developments in established and emerging cities.
